Although the large and powerful AR4366 is departing Earth’s view, the location still poses a risk to Earth as the western limb is magnetically connected to Earth!

The Parker Spiral is a prime example that elements of the sun is not directly aimed at Earth, certain regions are connected bringing geomagnetic conditions that can affect our planet.

We are seeing high energy with geomagnetic disturbances building which maybe the magnetic connection from 4366 but it is too early to tell. The board does look calm but with space weather, this can change gradually in hours.

There is a strong chance we will see a new sunspot by next week that may have the same energy of AR4366 as eruptions occurred far-side with great force. All current sunspots are stable or declining.
