Yesterday exploded in solar activity with a few M-Class flaring by 4294 and an X-Class flaring from 4299. The X-Class showed impressive results and complexity is strong as it was weeks ago. We are in the danger zone due to the decrease of the magnetic field.
The above spectrograph was taken around the time of the X-Class flaring.
With the arrival of a coronal hole and transequatorial stream facing Earth, we should start feeling the pressure and density within the next 48 hours. This double blow can cause contractions in the weakened magnetic field.
We can see some activity and minor geomagnetic disturbances are working this morning/afternoon. It is expected to see more activity soon.
